Biography
Chloé Slade started dancing at 7 years old and was selected to train at the South Carolina Governors School for the Arts and Humanities under the wing of Stanislav Issaev. She attended top summer dance intensives including North Carolina Dance Theatre and American Ballet Theatre in Detroit and New York. During her training she and competed ranked well into the top 12 in the Regional Youth American Grande Prix competition from 2003-2005 and competed in New York for the finals.
Chloé went on to continue academics and dance education at SUNY Purchase College in New York earning a BFA in dance and performance in 2009. Chloe's outstanding versatility in classical ballet and modern dance allowed her opportunities to dance for companies of many different styles throughout North America. A few to mention are New York Theatre Ballet, Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami, Oakland Ballet, The Connecticut Ballet, Charleston Ballet Theatre, Exit 12 Dance Company, Island Moving Company ,Battery Dance Company, Ballet Inc., Miami Contemporary Dance Company, and Nimbus Dance Works.
One of her career highlights was being selected to perform in the International Ballet Festival of Miami in 2015 and 2017, representing Ballet Inc. in the contemporary selection of the prestigious festival.
Chloé is an accredited American Ballet Theatre NTC certified ballet teacher in levels Primary-Level 5 and she is RTS200 Yoga Alliance certified through Awakened Warrior Training. Chloé currently resides in Memphis, TN where she is a ballet teacher and rehearsal director for The New Ballet Ensemble and School for ages 9-18. She continues to perform and guest in Memphis and around the country, coaches dancers, and choreographs college solos and repertoire for New Ballet.

One of the standout sections of the night was the duet between Chloe Slade and Jesus Olivera in the fourth section of “Fallen Angels. Review by Eye on Dance and the Arts/ Ballet Inc.
